These are single images from a three-wall video projection.

These images and the video are a meditation on what it means to live in contemporary society, seen through a series of intimate photographs of faces of people waiting in traffic at intersections.

The images show moments spent waiting, in pockets of nothingness; an in-between, a common experience of ephemeral space, not private, yet also not public.

In exploring this visual space inside the car, a space which transfers us between the here and there, I see individuals caught in stasis, within a cultural and economic framework.
